Welcome to HCC, Chris!

Posted on October 4, 2012 at 5:03 pm

The tables have turned: instead of media outlets snatching HCC talent for cushy corporate publicity jobs… we’ve hired a journalist ourselves. Matter of fact, one we’ve been pitching for years!

[L-R:] Chris Lackner, Vanessa Morgan (with her dog Yoshi), and Atticus Mitchell.

Chris Lackner recently joined the Holmes team after leaving Postmedia, where he was the National Arts & Life Editor. In an effort to stay one step ahead of the ever-changing media landscape, this offers HCC first-hand insight into the world of journalism. We’ll also be providing media with additional artillery on behalf of our clients, as Chris will deploy his writing talents to craft op-ed pieces for bloggers or under-staffed newsrooms. Matter of fact, he and Andrea were recently with Vanessa Morgan and Atticus Mitchell (My Babysitter’s A Vampire) to conduct an interview for one of his articles – quite similar to his previous line of work!

Not only did he score the awesome picture (to the right) with two of the MBAV cast members for his trophy wall, our friends at Cadence Canada and TV, Eh? also picked up his article!

My Babysitter’s a Vampire is produced by Fresh TV, and is currently airing its second season on Disney Channel in the U.S. and Teletoon in Canada. Canadians will be watching the fifth episode of season two tonight, while Americans will catch the second season finale tomorrow evening.

Don’t forget to tune into Teletoon (Canada) on Thursday at 7:30pm, or Disney (U.S.) on Friday at 7:30pm to catch the newest episode of MBAV.
