– Last week, the Toronto Reference Library was once again transformed into a glamorous black-tie gala for Biblio Bash, presented by TD Bank Group. Bringing together 43 of Canada’s top authors, local philanthropists, entrepreneurs and arts and culture supporters, the evening raised more than $692,000 through ticket and table sales, a silent auction and onsite donations.
Biblio Bash, Toronto’s must-attend gala for library lovers and city builders returns on Thursday, April 26, 2018. The Toronto Public Library Foundation’s (TPLF) annual fundraiser, presented by TD, will raise vital funds for Toronto Public Library (TPL), transform the Toronto Reference Library into a glamorous black-tie soirée showcasing the 21st century library, and bring together Canada’s top authors, local philanthropists, entrepreneurs, arts and culture supporters, donors, business executives and fans of Toronto Public Library.
Zombie librarians take over Toronto Public Library as goblins and ghouls roam the stacks of the Bloor/Gladstone Branch for the third annual Hush Hush party on October 31 – Halloween. Since the inaugural Hush Hush in 2013, this event has raised over $125,000 in support of the Toronto Public Library.
