The Canadian National Exhibition Association (CNEA) announces the opening of Withrow Common, Toronto’s newest event space located on the Exhibition Place grounds. The 6,082 square foot venue will facilitate events and workshops for the neighbouring communities and celebrates its grand opening with an inaugural art exhibition: Looking Forward, Looking Back: A Visual Exploration of Canada’s Relationship with its Indigenous People.
“This year’s event attracted a total of 1.601 million people over the course of its 18-day run (August 21 to September 7, 2015). Overall attendance was up 11.61 % over the 2014 CNE, which itself was a very successful fair that attracted 1.435 million visitors,” Ms. Ludy said.

The Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) will launch its 138th season with a special three-day event introducing the latest in innovations to the public. The CNE Innovation Garage will take place August 19 to 21 in Hall F in the Enercare Centre at Toronto’s Exhibition Place. The event is free with admission to the CNE.
The 137th edition of the Canadian National Exhibition marks the culmination of a spectacular summer in the city of Toronto. The excitement and thrills continue following the closing ceremonies of the Pan Am Games with Canada’s largest and favourite fair, the CNE, which runs August 21 – September 7, 2015.
