Canada’s Walk of Fame announces the return of its Emerging Artist Music Mentorship Program, supported by RBC, one of Canada’s most successful programs supporting aspiring Canadian musical artists. Valued at more than $100,000, this program provides musicians the tools they need to grow – whether it’s private studio time, introductions to renowned artists, access to key influencers, exposure to audiences and media or funding to take their career to the next level.

Valued at more than $100,000, this program provides musicians the tools needed to take their careers to the next level including private studio time at the prestigious Metalworks Studios; introductions to renowned artists; access to music industry influencers; exposure to audiences and media; as well as artist development and funding.
Canada’s Walk of Fame will honour 2017 Inductee David Suzuki with a permanent star in his hometown of Vancouver on March 23rd, marking the organization’s first event outside of Ontario in its 20-year history. The Hometown Star program is a new initiative beginning this year, providing Inductees with an additional opportunity to celebrate their induction in their hometown with a plaque mounted at a special location of their choice.
Multi-platinum selling artist Johnny Reid and iconic East Coast singer songwriter Jimmy Rankin will join Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy as special guests during their Canada’s Walk of Fame Festival concert on September 25 at Massey Hall.
Canada’s Walk of Fame announces the 2017 Inductees who represent the organization’s five pillars of recognition: Sports and Athletics, Philanthropy and Humanities, Arts and Entertainment, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Science and Technology. The Inductees will be honoured at the Beyond Famous Gala on November 15 at the Liberty Grand in Toronto.
