ALANIS MORISSETTE TO BE INDUCTED INTO THE CANADIAN MUSIC HALL OF FAME

The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is pleased to announce Alanis Morissette as the 2015 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Spanning nearly three decades, Morissette’s extraordinary career has produced a string of chart-topping albums and garnered her numerous awards and accolades, including 13 JUNO Awards, seven Grammy Awards and two Golden Globe Award nominations. The singer-songwriter will add yet another achievement when she is honoured during the 44th annual JUNO Awards Broadcast live on CTV and CTV Go, Sunday, March 15 at 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. AT and at 7 p.m. in all other markets, from the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.

Alanis Morissette, deadmau5, Lights, and Sam Roberts Band Confirmed for The 2015 JUNO Awards

CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that 2015 Canadian Music Hall of Fame Inductee Alanis Morissette, as well as electronic music phenomenon deadmau5, electro-pop artist Lights, and rockers Sam Roberts Band, are all set to rock THE 2015 JUNO AWARDS broadcast, Sunday, March 15 on CTV. Alanis Morissette returns to the same Hamilton stage where she won five JUNO Awards for her seminal, multi-platinum 1995 album Jagged Little Pill, released 20 years ago. These artists join previously announced performers Arkells, Hedley, Kiesza, MAGIC!, and Shawn Mendes.

He Can Do ‘Anything!’ Canada’s Multi-Talented Jacob Hoggard to Host CTV’s Broadcast of THE 2015 JUNO AWARDS

CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) announced today that Jacob Hoggard, lead singer of the JUNO Award-winning band Hedley, is set to host THE 2015 JUNO AWARDS broadcast on CTV and CTV GO from Hamilton’s FirstOntario Centre on Sunday, March 15, live at 7 p.m. (8 p.m. AT) (check local listings to confirm broadcast times). Pulling double-duty as host and performer, Hoggard – also nominated for three JUNO Awards this year – brings his explosive energy and no-holds-barred attitude to the stage for Canada’s biggest night in music, proving that he really can do ‘anything.’
