Good Turns are scientifically proven to have a host of benefits. In addition to making both the doer and recipient feel good, studies show that performing Good Turns helps those suffering from social anxiety to mingle more easily and has a positive impact on risk factors for cardiac disease. Plus good deeds can also inspire others to perform their own good turn and it takes only one to spark a cycle of kindness.
In today’s modern world, young people have more power, influence and affect on their environment than any previous generation – so its not surprising that one of Canada’s most established youth organizations, Scouts Canada, is recognizing this change by introducing a new youth-led Scouting program called The Canadian Path.
Newly expanded for 2016, Camp Impeesa, Scouts Canada’s high adventure summer camp located in the heart of Alberta’s Rocky Mountains, now provides Scouts and non-Scouts with even more opportunities for adventure.
