Canada’s Walk of Fame announces the 2017 Inductees who represent the organization’s five pillars of recognition: Sports and Athletics, Philanthropy and Humanities, Arts and Entertainment, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Science and Technology. TRENTON RESIDENT NAMED CANADA’S WALK OF FAME UNSUNG HERO OF 2016

Canada’s Walk of Fame today announced that John Cairns of Trenton, Ontario is the Recipient of this year’s Peter Soumalias Unsung Hero Honour. Chosen by the Canada’s Walk of Fame Board of Directors, John will attend the 2016 Canada’s Walk of Fame Celebration Events on Thursday, October 6, where he will be recognized for his positive outlook and for inspiring those around him to never give up.
